Welcome to Amherst Youth Soccer Association
AYSA is a non-profit organization with the purpose of promoting soccer for youth ages 4-18. The association is a recreational group under Ohio Youth Soccer Association North. Our philosophy and mission is to provide a program where boys and girls can learn and grow through soccer. We do this by offering a wide range of opportunities for the children ranging from "just for fun" developmental teams through highly competitive teams. Whether your goal is recreation and fitness, or challenging competition, Amherst Youth Soccer Association strives to have a team for you.
Coaches Clinic
The AYSA will be running coaches clinics every thursday from Feb 26th until March 26thThe clinics run from 6-7:30pm at gameday sports in oberlin. All coaches(assistants) are incouraged to attended. There is no cost.....Many topics will be covered from footskill training to coaching techniques. Please bring a ball and comfortable clothing. Please try to attend at least 3/6 sessions, we will be covering a broad range of age appropriate topics each session and we will try to review 15 minutes the session before thank you...

Its Time to sign up for the Fall Season!
AYSA is having Fall 2009 sign-ups Thursday May 21st from 6-8 pm at the Nordson Depot. All teams should register their current team as a whole(in-house-County or any travel not needed tryouts). For registration, each coach will need to get a current roster of players, make copies of registration forms(found at the OYSAN.org web site) have them filled out by parents and returned to reps by June 1st. New players can request coaches, but only if numbers warrant will they be placed accordingly. Costs will be 75.00/In-house and 100.00/County,aasl,nogsl. Checks made payable to AYSA. Anyone making the move from in-house to county or county to travel should contact their rep for registration details(birth certificates and Pictures).

Team Updates
AYSA has a number of volunteers that have agreed to help keep the website updated. Now all we need is your news! Each team is able to have their own page, or, should you have a technically savvy volunteer on your team, their own sub-web fully under the team's control. Please don't ask your coach to take the lead on these web pages, they have plenty of work already in their volunteer schedules.
